Constellation Jewelry, also called CJs, are articles of jewelry that possess enchantments that boost a designated skill. Depending on the skills of the jewelry's creator a skill can be boosted by as much as 100 ranks and each piece of jewelry could have as much as 8 uses. A CJ is activated by rubbing it. Anyone can use Constellation Jewelry, but if the user is not skilled in Magical Devices skill they will use up more than one charge when they rub it.
Theoretical ranks of MD to charges used:
- 0-99 ranks - 4 charges
- 100-199 ranks - 3 charges
- 200-299 ranks - 2 charges
- 300+ ranks - 1 charge
Items Needed
Steps
- Imbue your item twice
- Scribe, activate and bind the foundation sigil onto the item. If you fail to bind the sigil, repeat this step.
- Scribe, activate and bind the conjunctive sigil onto the item. If you fail to bind the sigil, repeat this step.
- If the skill requires a trine sigil: Scribe, activate and bind the sigil onto the item. If you fail to bind the sigil, repeat this step.
