Gargantuan Bone Golem

Jump to: navigation, search

The Gargantuan Bone Golem resides in Maelshyve's Abyss along with the Vaporous Blood Wraith in an area that is part of the Cleric Infusion Quest. In this area you cannot move from room to room quickly or you will fall and injure yourself, similar to the icy road near Raven's Point. However, like the icy road this area is also buggy and you may SNEAK through it at full speed (though that would be Mechanics Abuse).

Description

A hideous amalgam of shattered, twisted, and fused bone, the fearsome hulk before you rises to the height of several Gor'Togs. Clearly no natural beast possesses a skeletal structure as horrific as this - with uneven limbs formed of irregular, contorted lengths of flesh-stripped bone. Its claws are incongruent and jagged, bearing the unmistakable crimson stain of dried blood. Only a Necromancer of considerable power and vileness could meld the deceased bodies of so many beasts into such a horrific construct.

Special Attacks

A gargantuan bone golem raises the massive hulk of its body up onto one foot, slamming the other to the ground with tremendous force! The earth below begins to quake violently!

Inventory/Loot

None. After being killed the golem becomes "a shattered heap of bones".

Area Details

To get to the Gargantuan Bone Golem is complicated. One must first SEARCH for a path off the main road, travel through a maze-like cemetary, find a route to the church (by climbing a tree and peering at the church), lockpick the front door of the mausoleum (which is trapped with a Curse spell), then solve a very tricky coffin puzzle. To leave the area one must also be able to lockpick an armoire.
