Description

The field/wildland goblin is unusual and not quite like anything you have ever set eyes on. You're not sure just what to make of it.

Equipment/Loot

Near the Lake of Dreams

  • It is wearing a hooded cloak.
  • It is carrying a dagger.

Along the Woodland Path

  • It is wearing a hooded cloak.
  • It is carrying a target shield, a short sword.

Fallow Fields

  • It is wearing a hooded cloak.
  • It is carrying a target shield, a short sword.

Note:: There are no Madmen out the West Gate of Crossing. There are armed and unarmed goblins only.

Note::: Armed goblins are a bit harder than unarmed goblins. There are unarmed goblins outside the West Gate of the Crossings: take the first south after the path, then the first southwest, then head southwest. Look at the goblins to make sure you're in the right place.

NOTE::: I can skin fine with 20 ranks of skinning with a skinning knife. With a medium edged weapon, however, I can skin about 1 out of every 4 goblins. Skinning goblins with a skinning knife probably only takes about 15 ranks of skinning.

Please Note::: I have 41 Shield Usage skill and I still get hit by armed goblins.

Armed goblins (West of Crossing) appear to stop teaching armor and evasion in the early 40s, shield at 47, backstabbing at 60.
